Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi
meets with U.S. Secretary of State

According to the Xinhua News Agency, visiting Chinese
Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met in Washington Wednesday
with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to make
preparations for Chinese President Hu Jintao's upcoming
visit and to exchange views on bilateral relations.
Yang spoke positively of the development of China-U.S.
relations, including frequent contacts between the heads of
state, the establishment of Strategic and Economic Dialogue
as well as high-level consultation mechanism for talent
exchanges.
